How do I subscribe?
Please click the button at the end of the menu bar or on the signup page, and then complete the form.
How do I unsubscribe?
At the bottom of each daily email there is a link
saying: “To unsubscribe from the word-on-the-web mailing lists please
click
here:”. Please follow that link to unsubscribe.
If for some reason the link does not appear to work correctly, please copy
and paste it directly into a browser.
Why am I not receiving my daily email?
Before contacting the team please check your junk filter, as often the messages can get filtered out. You may wish to add our address to your safe list or address book to ensure this doesn’t happen.
How can I change my email address?
Please send an email to theteam@word-on-the-web.co.uk, listing the email address you have been using (so we can find it in the database) and the email address you now wish the daily emails to be sent to.
Who is behind word-on-the-web?
word-on-the-web is an initiative of Church Army, the largest evangelistic organisation working in the Church of England. The day-to-day running of the project is handled by the word-on-the-web team. If you want to know more about us please see the team page.
Who is word-on-the-web aimed at?
word-on-the-web is written for a target group of 17-24 year-olds. However, people of all ages have found word-on-the-web of benefit to them.
Is my information safe?
We promise never to pass on any information we hold for word-on-the-web to any third party; it will not be used for advertising. Subscribers to the word-on-the-web daily readings service will only receive daily readings and occasional update newsletters from us. We will not keep your details if you choose to leave word-on-the-web.
Who writes for word-on-the-web?
We have a wide variety of contributors to the daily notes, including Christian leaders, artists and musicians, youth workers and evangelists. They are drawn from across the church, with a few working outside the UK.
How do I know you are not a bunch of weirdos?
word-on-the-web is a project of Church Army, an Anglican evangelistic society. We are not a cult or strange organisation. The list of contributors represents a wide variety of leaders from different churches and denominations. word-on-the-web exists to help you develop daily time with Jesus. We are not here to push any particular party line but to see people grow in the Christian faith.
Who pays for word-on-the-web?
word-on-the-web is funded by Church Army. Church Army meets both the cost of hosting the web site and staff costs so it can be free for you to use.
How can I support word-on-the-web?
It
costs approximately £30,000
to keep word-on-the-web operational, free to subscribers. Would you consider
making a contribution to this ministry?

Can I reproduce word-on-the-web material?
All material is copyright to word-on-the-web and Church Army, unless otherwise declared. If you wish to use any of the material in your church/youth group publication etc., that is word-on-the-web copyright, we are happy for you to do this, provided you:
- credit word-on-the-web and list our web address (www.word-on-the-web.co.uk), and
- send a copy of the reproduced material in the format it is distributed in, to theteam@word-on-the-web.co.uk or by post to: word-on-the-web Project Co-ordinator, Church Army, Marlow House, 109 Station Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA17 7AD.
