Anyone who's caught "I'm So Happy" on Cross Rhythms radio will know that this brother and sister duo from Atlanta, Georgia are something special. Thanks in part to the acclaimed producer Trevon Potts (BeBe Winans, Christina Aguilera) who here concocts bubblingly funky tracks chock full of radio-friendly vibes and in part to the breathtaking quality of 15 year old Charles and 13 year old Taylor Swiney's voices, this is a delight. The energetic "I'm Not Ashamed" is a bold declaration of what God has done in the lives of the teenage hot gospellers while even "Mama's Song", a sentimental number sung to their mother, manages to stay the right side of the cheese line. In his press release Charles says, "As ambassadors for Christ, our mission is to win souls for the Kingdom." With a quality album of such broad based listener appeal as this, I reckon he and his sister have made an impressive start.
